In the chest of every single person, big or small, beats the heart of a champion. And in that heart is a purpose that will, if lived, bring something to life no other heart ever has, ever will or ever could. Something the world needs more now than ever before.
When Frank has out of town football games, he has to be there an hour early. And then the games tend to run late. So the girls and I drive around town and see if there is anything interesting to do. This weekend we stumbled upon the Belle Plaine Arboretum. It was stunnly beautiful and we stopped to walk the grounds and take pictures. Of course we were dressed for a ballgame, not picture taking. Carlie had stayed at home with Bob because she didn't feel good. Here are some pictures.
My husband and I have five kids, and they are all unique and special in their own ways. Bob is a high school football Coach. I am an IT Manager.
J.B is 20 and came to live with us when he was 17. He's my rebel.
Frank is 11, we've had him since he was three years old. He's my athlete.
Libby is 10, we've had her since she was 2 years old. She is my Helper.
Madolyn is 7 years old. She was 4 days old when we got her and she is my Diva.
The baby is Carlie. She is 6 years old and is our Brainiac.
We have two cats, two dogs, and three guinea pigs who live in the house.
And we have two loving sets of grandparents that we spend lots of time with.
