Beautiful children! I'm sure they love their contacts. I know I did when I got them! :)

As it turns out, we've been fostering for 1 1/2 years now. We had a 3 week old baby come to us within the same month we were licensed. We had her for 8 1/2 months before she was reunited with her parents. Her parents did an AMAZING job of working their case plan and deserved to get her back. We still have contact with our former foster daughter and her family, which has been nice.
Our next foster daughter came to us at 12 months old, 3 months afte we were licensed. We've had her for 14 months now and the judge recently ruled for termination of parental rights. We're now waiting to see if the birth mother will appeal. We hope to be able to finalize her adoption this year! :)
I think my husband and I would like to continue fostering, even after we adopt our current foster daughter. There's such a need and we have a loving home to provide.
We will continue to take only children younger than our two children, for safety reasons, but in my area, it seems as though there's no shortage of little ones.
Maybe when our kids are a bit older, we'll be able to consider fostering in an older age range.
